還在大學念書的同學Scott，利用了暑假期間來到MeRISE進修雅思課程。想了解在宿霧的遊學生活過程體驗如何呢？以及他在這段學習過程中，進步最多的英語能力是什麼呢？聽聽Scott的經驗分享吧！
MeRISE: What’s your previous job? 你之前的職業是什麼呢？
Scott: I am a university student now. I expect to graduate from school next year.
我現在的身分是大學生，預計明年畢業。
MeRISE: Are you using English when you’re at school? 你在學校時，會使用到英語嗎？
Scott: When I study in Taiwan, our text books are usually written in English, so I usually read in English.
當我在台灣念大學時，我們的課本、教材大多都是英文原文書，所以我經常需要用到英語閱讀能力。
MeRISE: Why do you decide to come to the Philippines? 為什麼你會決定到菲律賓遊學呢？
Scott: I decide to study aboard after I graduate from university, so I need to improve English skill to pass IELTS. That’s why I want to study English in foreign country.
In addition, there are two reasons for me to choose learning English in the Philippines.
a. The Philippines is the closest country to choose.
b. And price is cheaper than Canada or Australia.
在我大學畢業之後，我想要出國念書，所以我必須要強化我的英語能力，並通過雅思考試。這是我選擇到國外學英語的原因。此外，還有兩個原因讓我選擇到菲律賓學英語：
a. 菲律賓是最接近台灣的英語遊學國家。
b. 在菲律賓遊學的費用比到加拿大或澳洲便宜。
MeRISE: Why do you choose to study at MeRISE English Academy? 為什麼會選擇到MeRISE學英語呢？
Scott: I chose MeRISE because my agent recommended it.
我選擇MeRISE主要是因為我的遊學代辦人員推薦我這間學校。
MeRISE: How was your study in the Philippines? 這次的菲律賓遊學經驗如何？
Scott: Teachers here are very talkative and very kind, they always talk with me a lot that me want to talk more English. I think that why my English speaking is improving.
MeRISE的老師們都非常健談、親切，他們總是和我聊很多話題，也讓我想要用英語多跟他們聊天，我相信這讓我的英語口說能力有進步。
MeRISE: Have you studied English before? 你之前有學習英語的經驗嗎？
Scott: I learned English from elementary school. And then I keep studying it until senior high school. I have learned English for more than ten years.
我從國小開始學習英語，一直到高中都有持續學習，學英語的時間至少十年以上。
MeRISE: What has changed yourself compare to before? 來到MeRISE學習後，你覺得自己有什麼改變嗎？
Scott: I feel more convertible to speaking English to foreigner, and my listening is getting better than before.
不論是對外國人說英語還是英語聽力，我覺得都比之前好很多。
MeRISE: Did you enjoy your weekends in Cebu? 假日期間，你是否享受在宿霧的生活？
Scott: I enjoy the holiday of Cebu. I went to Oslob to watch whale shark it’s really interesting.
我很享受在宿霧的假期，我去奧斯陸與鯨鯊共游，是相當有趣的體驗。
MeRISE: How do you keep your English competence in the future? 未來你打算如何維持自己的英語能力呢？
Scott: After back to Taiwan, I will continue to learn English by study in a cram school.
回台灣後，我會持續到英語補習班學習英語，來維持自己的英語能力。
MeRISE: Do you have any plans after study abroad? 這趟國外遊學結束後，有任何計畫嗎？
Scott: I have planned to study abroad after I finish my university course.
等到大學畢業後，我計畫要出國念書。
MeRISE: Finally, I would like you to leave a message to those who are going to study at MeRISE. 最後，請你對即將來到MeRISE遊學的同學說一些話吧！
Scott: It’s really lucky for you to study in MeRISE, teachers here are the best, so you can learn a lot if you study hard, and remember let practice makes perfect.
我覺得自己很幸運能夠來到MeRISE學英語，這裡的老師們都是最棒的，只要你願意認真學習，你可能在這裡學到很多，並持續地練習英語，成就完美。
